Day 1 – Sunday

Arrive Paris

Meet and greet at the airport, transfer to the hotel. Hotel check-in is normally around 3pm

Your accommodation will be in a 4* hotel in central Paris.  Single room on Bed & Breakfast basis.

Check-in and relax during the day.

Join us for evening drinks to meet your host and the rest of the group.

An optional dinner will be arranged in the centre of Paris within walking distance from the hotel for those who’d like to join. This will be on an A La Carte/self-payment basis.

Day 2 – Monday

In Paris, you’ll discover a spectacular city packed with a dazzling array of famous attractions such as the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur, more museums than you can possibly visit in one trip, wonderful restaurants, and fascinating historic and modern neighbourhoods to explore.

In the morning the group will be led on a 4-hour city bus tour with a private guide including a tour of the Louvre.

Day 3 – Tuesday

Spend the day exploring Paris on your own, soaking up the atmosphere and experiences of this enchanting city before joining the group in the evening for a magical dinner cruise along the Seine.

Day 4 – Wednesday

Transfer to the Gare de Lyon and jump on the world-famous TGV (high-speed train) for the scenic journey down to Avignon, arriving around midday.

Your 4* hotel is the Hotel Bristol

A light lunch will be organised at the hotel so you will be ready for your afternoon sightseeing trip:

Avignon is one of France’s most fascinating and historic towns full of culture and history. It was the capital of the papacy from 1309 to 1377. Recognised for its architectural beauty and historic importance, the centre of Avignon was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995. Fairytale winding streets, pastel-coloured patisserie and sunny pavements cafes make Avignon’s old town one of the dreamiest places in Provence to quaff espressos or a chilled glass of rose wine.

In the afternoon the group will explore the historical centre of Avignon on a walking tour with an English-speaking guide, including a visit to the Palais des Papes.

An optional dinner will be organised in the centre of Avignon, within walking distance of your hotel.  This will be organised on an A la Carte/self-payment basis.

Day 5 – Thursday

No trip to Avignon would be complete without a visit to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, including a scenic drive through some of the most beautiful Provencale villages, wine tasting and a tour of the vineyard at Maison Bouachon at Chateauneuf-du-Pape and a delicious lunch.

Day 6 – Friday

Today you leave Avignon by air-conditioned private coach and head towards the Côte d’Azur, stopping on the way in Cassis for lunch and a boat trip.

Cassis is a wonderful place to stroll about with its picturesque fishing port lined with cafes and restaurants. Overlooked by a centuries-old château, it’s known for pebbly beaches and its calanques, narrow inlets framed by steep, limestone cliffs. The water is so crystal clear it feels more like the Indian ocean than the Med!!

Your visit to Cassis includes a boat trip around the calanques. Lunch will be organised but on an a la cart/self-payment basis.

Your 4* hotel in Nice is The Hotel Splendid & Spa

An optional dinner will be organised in the centre of Nice, within walking distance of your hotel.  This will be organised on an A la Carte/self-payment basis.

Day 7 – Saturday

Nice, famous for its flower market, the Promenade des Anglais, fabulous restaurants and excellent museums and art galleries, your first day will be all yours to get lost in the winding alleyway of the old town, climb up to the Chateau for stunning 360-degree views or check out the works of Matisse. You might want to hop on a train for a quick and easy journey along the coast to Cannes or Antibes? Whatever you choose to do, our host can help advise and point you in the right direction.

Day 8 – Sunday

Today you’ll travel by air-conditioned coach to Monaco where your guide will take you to the Palace and to the Cathedral where Grace Kelly and her husband Prince Rainier are laid to rest.  From here you will see the Oceanographic Museum and then head over to the fabulous Monte Carlo.  See the famous F1 Grand Prix race track, the Casino, the glamorous luxury boutiques and hotels, and not forgetting of course the unforgettable views over the Mediterranean. After enjoying some refreshments in the Place du Casino you will head onto the enchanting village of Eze. This beautiful village dates back to the middle ages and clings impressively to the mountainside above the Mediterranean Sea, between St Jean Cap Ferrat and Monaco. Panoramic views, and ancient façades, are some of the most memorable features of this lovely village. Here you’ll stop for lunch and also be led through the unusual experience of oil and vinegar pairing. Something not to be missed!

Then it’s back to Nice by coach and an evening to relax.

Day 9 – Monday

The final full day in this beautiful part of the world includes a private transfer to the stunning village of St Paul de Vence. This medieval village is a real mecca for artists, who have been coming here since 1920. Among others, Picasso, Dufy, Matisse, and Marc Chagall have stayed here and created their works.  Walk through the narrow streets of the village and you will pass charming little galleries, shops, restaurants, and art studios, or sit at one of the cafes next to the impressive fountain in the Place de la Grande Fontaine and watch the world go by. You might also want to visit the world-famous museum of modern art, Fondation Maeght.  Then it’s back to Nice for a final evening to relax and enjoy the local amenities.

An optional dinner will be organised in the old town of Nice, sadly the last one of this unforgettable trip which has given you just a small taste of the diverseness of this magical country – France.  This will be organised on an A la Carte/self-payment basis.

Day 10 – Tuesday

Unfortunately, all good things much come to an end!

Today we’ll help you with your onward travel, whether you’re going to Nice airport or heading off on your own to explore further.  Hotel check-out will be between 11am and midday.

Our Customers Love Us

Honeymoon to India – the service far exceeded our expectations

“From the very moment we contacted the InspireMeTravel team to arrange our honeymoon to India (New Delhi) and Sri Lanka (The Cape Weligama) the service far exceeded our expectations. The professionalism of providing us with a proposal detailing the entire trip from the moment we left the UK, flights, hotels, excursions, internal transfers and the flight back home were amazing. As part of the service we were provided with a local mobile phone and a representative should we need to contact anyone, this was a true first class service. We had a complication due to weather conditions that our sea plane was not able to fly and again, without any interruption to our holiday the InspireMeTravel team took care of everything keeping in contact with us the entire time. We have used them for all our holidays since our honeymoon, they will not disappoint. Well done to Karen and Jill in particular.”

North Cyprus Wine Tasting – one of the best wines I’ve ever tasted!

"In my opinion,  one of the best wines I’ve ever tasted! Such a stunning hotel with gorgeous views of the vineyards that this hotel is set in and only 15 mins drive to North Cyprus’ harbour, which offers lovely restaurants surrounding it so you can experience more of the tasty North Cypriot cuisine.

The rooms in the hotel are First Class with different themes for each and the only hotel In North Cyprus with its own wine. Definitely recommend."

Verona Opera – Such an amazing experience

"If you want to see an opera with the magical atmosphere and feel as if you are actually with the characters then go to the Opera Arena in Verona. Such an amazing experience.  Verona also has the Romeo and Juliet museum where you can actually stand in Juliets Courtyard and in her balcony.  Definitely a must."

Vespa Tour – Would definitely recommend

"What a fantastic way to see all the main sites of Rome AND the Vatican. With top historians who have amazing knowledge of this beautiful City. Would definitely recommend it."

I would highly recommend booking this tour with Inspire Me Travel

"I joined Inspire Me Travel group tour of the famous Mona Lisa’s family home.  The landscape features in the background of the famous Mona Lisa painting – how amazing is that!   First impressions from the group was “Wow”, the ambience, the scenery, the home was breathtakingly beautiful.  We were free to walk around the beautiful gardens and then joined a wine tour, which was very informative.  The group were then shown to our outside dining table on the terrace, where we could marvel at the view whilst sampling the wines which accompanied our lunch. There is a shop where you can buy wines and other gifts, what an opportunity to take a bottle of Mona Lisa wine home with you, so you can share this truly special experience with your friends!  I would highly recommend booking this tour with Inspire Me Travel.  It was so very well organised."

What a truly wonderful experience

"I joined Inspire Me Travel group tour of the Paris Jazz clubs in February this year.  What a truly wonderful experience.  Our first night was at Ducs des Lombard, for the truly discerning jazz enthusiast, it did not disappoint.  The following evening was at the famous Caveau de la Huchette in the Latin Quarter; grab a seat and listen to the band; watch some amazing dancers and join in.  It had a great atmosphere and was super friendly.  Inspire Me Travel also organised wonderful restaurants (to suit our budget) close to the jazz venues.   I would highly recommend booking with Inspire Me Travel they tick all the boxes!"
