The coastline of Reykjavík is set with peninsulas, coves, straits and islands, and seabirds and whales frequent the shores. The mountain ring seen from the shore is beautiful.

The largest river to run through the city is Elliðaá , which is also one of Iceland’s best rivers for salmon fishing.

Explore the Northern Lights in the Comfort of a Super Jeep – 4 hours
This fascinating natural phenomenon known as the Northern Lights, is one of the most mesmerizing sights you will ever come across in your lifetime. The dancing colours and shapes in the dark arctic sky will simply leave you awestruck.
Your guide will pick you up in an custom-built 4×4 super jeep. On the search for the Northern Lights, you will travel through some of Iceland’s most spectacular natural sights with a very informative guide. The super jeep gives flexibility to go off the beaten path, where big tour buses cannot reach, giving a better chance to enjoy the Northern Lights.
Venture into the night on a chase to see the spectacular, unique and ever-changing show of the Northern Lights. In the cold night, there is nothing like some hot chocolate to keep warm and the brave ones can even add some Icelandic Brennivín to theirs! Your guides take photos every time the Northern lights are spotted so you can be sure to get your picture taken with the Aurora.
Please note: As the success of the Northern Lights Explorer tour is heavily dependent on weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel departures up until 18:15 on the day of the tour. If the tour goes ahead and no northern lights are seen, we offer clients the chance to join another evening’s departure free of charge upon availability.
The Golden Circle – 7 hours
Join one of the most popular small group tours and visit three of Iceland’s best-known sights; Geysir, Gullfoss and Þingvellir, commonly referred to as the Golden Circle. The maximum group size is 25 people.
Gullfoss
Gullfoss (e. Golden Falls) is considered the queen of Icelandic waterfalls. Its powerful presence is an experience no one should miss as the waterfall cascades down to a deep gorge and is often crowned with a glorious rainbow.
Geysir
Geysir geothermal area is a showstopper in its own right, with spouting hot springs and a moonlike surface. While the enormous hot spring Geysir is the king of this castle, the main attraction here is its more active brother Strokkur, erupting every few minutes in this picturesque setting.
Thingvellir
The last but certainly not least stop of the day is at Thingvellir National Park. This Unesco World Heritage Site is a unique place of visible geological wonders and the site of Iceland’s historical Viking parliament. At Þingvellir you can stand between the Eurasian and American tectonic plates that are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimetres per year while drinking in the rich Viking history of the area.
Kerið Crater
While this destination isn’t technically part of the famous Golden Circle, as this tour is for seven hours, it gives your guide time to take you here on your way back to the city. And Kerid is a bonus destination like no other. This is a 3,000-year-old picturesque volcanic crater that looks like it should feature in a sci-fi blockbuster!

“From the very moment we contacted the InspireMeTravel team to arrange our honeymoon to India (New Delhi) and Sri Lanka (The Cape Weligama) the service far exceeded our expectations. The professionalism of providing us with a proposal detailing the entire trip from the moment we left the UK, flights, hotels, excursions, internal transfers and the flight back home were amazing. As part of the service we were provided with a local mobile phone and a representative should we need to contact anyone, this was a true first class service. We had a complication due to weather conditions that our sea plane was not able to fly and again, without any interruption to our holiday the InspireMeTravel team took care of everything keeping in contact with us the entire time. We have used them for all our holidays since our honeymoon, they will not disappoint. Well done to Karen and Jill in particular.”
"In my opinion, one of the best wines I’ve ever tasted! Such a stunning hotel with gorgeous views of the vineyards that this hotel is set in and only 15 mins drive to North Cyprus’ harbour, which offers lovely restaurants surrounding it so you can experience more of the tasty North Cypriot cuisine.
The rooms in the hotel are First Class with different themes for each and the only hotel In North Cyprus with its own wine. Definitely recommend."
"If you want to see an opera with the magical atmosphere and feel as if you are actually with the characters then go to the Opera Arena in Verona. Such an amazing experience. Verona also has the Romeo and Juliet museum where you can actually stand in Juliets Courtyard and in her balcony. Definitely a must."
"What a fantastic way to see all the main sites of Rome AND the Vatican. With top historians who have amazing knowledge of this beautiful City. Would definitely recommend it."
"I joined Inspire Me Travel group tour of the famous Mona Lisa’s family home. The landscape features in the background of the famous Mona Lisa painting – how amazing is that! First impressions from the group was “Wow”, the ambience, the scenery, the home was breathtakingly beautiful. We were free to walk around the beautiful gardens and then joined a wine tour, which was very informative. The group were then shown to our outside dining table on the terrace, where we could marvel at the view whilst sampling the wines which accompanied our lunch. There is a shop where you can buy wines and other gifts, what an opportunity to take a bottle of Mona Lisa wine home with you, so you can share this truly special experience with your friends! I would highly recommend booking this tour with Inspire Me Travel. It was so very well organised."
"I joined Inspire Me Travel group tour of the Paris Jazz clubs in February this year. What a truly wonderful experience. Our first night was at Ducs des Lombard, for the truly discerning jazz enthusiast, it did not disappoint. The following evening was at the famous Caveau de la Huchette in the Latin Quarter; grab a seat and listen to the band; watch some amazing dancers and join in. It had a great atmosphere and was super friendly. Inspire Me Travel also organised wonderful restaurants (to suit our budget) close to the jazz venues. I would highly recommend booking with Inspire Me Travel they tick all the boxes!"
