On our Culinary and Sightseeing Experience in Athens, you will stay for 3 nights in the Titania Hotel in Athens (or similar – subject to availability), enjoy a City Tour, as well as an Olive Oil Seminar, and a Greek Cooking Class.

The Hotel:
Titania Hotel, operating for 35 years in the heart of the Historical and Commercial Centre of Athens
The hotel is surrounded by the most important monuments of the Grecian History, such as the Acropolis, the New Museum of Acropolis, the Parliament, the Archaeological Museum, and the National Library. It is located within a short distance to theatres, modern shops and city malls, offering its guests a wide variety of sightseeing and entertainment choices.
The impressive lobby area, decorated with the famous “Pentelikon” marble and exquisite inlaid mosaics with themes from the Ancient Greek history, the impressive “La Brasserie” restaurant, as well as the Hotel’s Awarded Gourmet Roof Garden Restaurant “Olive Garden”.

The Tour:
Day 1 – On your arrival in Athens you will be welcomed by your English-Speaking driver and depart to your hotel for check in. Overnight in Athens.

Day 2 – City Tour of Athens & The Acropolis After breakfast, you will be picked up by your Guide for your city tour. Start by visiting the Panathenaic Stadium, then continue your tour passing by the National Garden, the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square Parliament House, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Russian Orthodox Church and finally visit Acropolis site. Admire the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon. Your last visit is the Acropolis Museum, where at last the statues of the Acropolis found their home. After the end of the tour return to your accommodation. Overnight in Athens.

Day 3 –After breakfast, Overnight in Athens.

Ready to become an olive oil expert and experience the most important Greek harvest of the year? You will be tasting 4 special indigenous varieties of Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil along with fresh local appetizers & perform the “hot potato test” in order to really taste the essence of the olive oil. A sweet chocolate dessert … with a twist will be served as a final surprise!

GREEK COOKING CLASS Discover the best Greek authentic recipes, explore their secrets and enjoy a delicious dinner! The hands-on session is planned around a traditional Greek meal. First, you learn how to create the dishes and then gather around the table to enjoy the “fruits” of your cooking session in a lovely, warm environment. These are the principles of the well known Greek hospitality! The philosophy of these culinary meetings is to welcome visitors to the healthy and flavourful world of the Mediterranean diet. • Greek “meze” during the cooking class
